Plan To Eat Annual Sale

Plan to Eat meal planner

There are tons of things I love about Plan to Eat! Anyone who engages me about saving money has heard me sing the praises of Plan to Eat. PTE is a recipe keeper, meal planner, shopping list maker and so much more. Plan to Eat includes access to their website and their Android/iPhone app. Meal planning has been important to our family for a long time. We has been Plan to Eat subscribers since 2014.

Recipe Keeper

Plan to Eat includes a robust recipe keeper. We currently have over 700 recipes saved.

Meal Planning

Can you drag and drop? Meal planning with Plan to Eat is as simple as dragging your recipes into the calendar. Each day, you have planning options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

Shopping List

Once you have used the meal planner to plan your meals, simply run the grocery list for your selected time frame. We have a family checking session after I’ve run the grocery list where I call out the items that are needed. “Kidney beans?” “No. We don’t have any kidney beans.” If an item is listed in a recipe, it will appear on the shopping list. If a recipe calls for a cup of water, it will need to be taken off to clean up the shopping list.

Social Aspect

There is a social aspect to Plan to Eat as well. You can be “friends” with people on PTE and share recipes. What about Aunt Susie’s “secret” chocolate cake recipe? You can mark certain recipes as private. If you are already a member of Plan to Eat, please be sure to send me a friend request at Angelicaj99.

Cost

Plan to Eat cost $39.00 a year. Every Black Friday, PTE runs a special on their annual half-off special for $19.50 for the year. I always say it, but if it saves me from eating out 1 time a year by meal planning ahead, then it have saved me far more that $19.50.
